Terms and Conditions

Please Read The Following Conditions Carefully

  1. The mass of the trailer and load must not exceed more than 75% of the mass of the tow vehicle. DO NOT OVERLOAD THE TRAILER.
  2. Trailer will not be loaned or sublet.
  3. Deposit and rental must be paid before departure according to quantity of days/24 units for total duration of rental period.
  4. The lessee will be responsible for the trailer from the time and date of departure to the time and date of return.
  5. The lessee will be responsible for any damage to or loss of the trailer that may arise during the rental period.
  6. The trailer must be returned before or in the time agreed upon or the lessee will be charger for further unit/s of 24 hours.
  7. The lessee will forfeit the deposit if the trailer is not returned at the agreed time.
  8. Due to bookings please inform the lessor if trailer is not returned on agreed time.
  9. The lessor will not be responsible for any damage or loss to the load transported.
  10. The lessee will not alter any electrical fittings to the trailer as this is wired to SABS standards. Charges will arise from doing so.
  11. The lessee will be responsible for all traffic offences.
  12. The lessee is responsible for all flat or damaged tyres, rims, male plugs and brakes.
  13.  The lessee will indemnify the lessor against any claim for whatsoever reason arising from the rental.
  14. The lessee takes full responsibility for damage/loss to trailer that may arise during hire period. The lessee will be responsible for damage.insurance claims or excess payment if any claims should arise.
  15. The lessee doesn't report that the trailer will be late/not returned on agreed time a case of theft will be launched or the lessees property will be confiscated.
  16. The lessee gives permission that if none of the above matters are met, this agreement can be made as an order of the court.
  17. The lessee will be responsible for all legal fees necessary to enforce this agreement.
  18. The above mentioned insurance does not cover intentional damage.
  19. The above mentioned insurance does not cover damage to tyres, rims, male plugs and/or brakes and brake coupler.
  20. Type of load must be same as on contract of deposit can be forfeit and may result in additional charges.
  21. Insurance cover only trailer damage up to R10 000. No 3rd party claims to load/tow vehicle.
